## What does a session cost if I pay out of pocket?
Self-pay rates are simple. You'll always know the price before you book.

Payment is due at the time of your session. I take card. If money is tight, tell me. It's better to talk about it than to skip the help you need.
## Which insurance plans do you accept?
I'm in network with six major insurers. That means many clients pay just a copay instead of the full rate.

Coverage changes from plan to plan, so your exact cost depends on your copay and deductible. The quickest way to know is to call the number on your card and ask about outpatient mental health benefits. If that feels like a chore, reach out and I'll help you sort it out.
## What if you don't take my plan?
You can still work with me as a self-pay client. If your plan has out-of-network mental health benefits, I'll give you a superbill. That's an itemized receipt you send to your insurer for partial reimbursement. How much you get back depends on your plan. Many people are surprised it's more than they expected.

Common questions

Self-pay is $200 for a 50-minute individual session. Couples and family sessions are $250. Extended individual sessions (80 min) are $300; extended couple or family sessions are $375. If you use insurance, your cost depends on your plan. I'll help you check before we begin so there are no surprises.

Often, yes. I'm in network with six major plans, so many clients pay only a copay. Coverage varies by plan and by your deductible. The fastest way to know your exact cost is to call the number on your insurance card and ask about outpatient mental health benefits.

I accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Optum, UMR, and United Healthcare. If your plan isn't listed, you can still see me as a self-pay client and I can provide a superbill to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.

Self-pay rates are flat and clear: $200 for a 50-minute individual session, $250 for couples or family, $300 for an extended individual session, and $375 for an extended couple or family session. Payment is due at the time of your session. I take card, and I'll always tell you the cost up front.

A superbill is an itemized receipt for your sessions. If your plan has out-of-network mental health benefits, you send the superbill to your insurer and they reimburse part of what you paid. I generate these for self-pay clients on request. Reimbursement amounts depend on your plan.

Call the member services number on the back of your insurance card. Ask three things: is Andy Sibley in network, what is my copay for outpatient therapy, and have I met my deductible. If that feels like a hassle, reach out and I'll walk you through it.

A standard session runs 50 minutes. Extended sessions run 80 minutes, which some couples prefer for more room to work. Most people start weekly, then space sessions out as things improve. We set a rhythm that fits your goals and your schedule.
